How It All Started

One Meal Can Spark a Thousand Smiles

In 1974, Srila Prabhupada saw village children fighting with street dogs over scraps of food in Mayapur, West Bengal. He immediately instructed his disciples:

"No one within ten miles of a temple should go hungry… I want you to immediately begin serving food."

35.5% of children under five are underweight due to chronic malnutrition. Your donation transforms the lives of tribal children across India.
